The study focuses on the innovative integration of tourism and intangible cultural heritage. Based on an effective questionnaire survey of 476 adult tourists and practical observations of Beijing, Quanzhou, Luoyang, Xi'an and other places in China, the three main motivations for tourists to participate in Hanfu tourism were analyzed. Firstly, Hanfu, as a cultural intermediary, strengthens the emotional connection between tourists and traditional culture and meets their aesthetic and personal expression needs. The second is the high dissemination and participation of social media content, which deeply affects tourists' travel decisions and performance motivations. Thirdly, Hanfu tourism reflects the trend of tourists actively building their local cultural identity and presenting a ritualistic and emotional tendency in their travel experience. Research has shown that Hanfu tourism is not only a form of cultural consumption, but also an important path to promote the integration of intangible cultural heritage protection and cultural tourism. This study provides theoretical support and practical inspiration for the application of traditional clothing in cultural heritage tourism.
